We at Portree Kitchens have an extremely exciting and rare opportunity for an experienced Kitchen Designer/Sales Professional to join our small but busy Lutterworth-based team.
The role
So, what exactly does our Kitchen Designer/Sales Professional role entail? As a designer, you’ll be required to:
- Manage new leads
- Meet and greet clients at our showroom and demonstrate our furniture
- Undertake site surveys
- Produce inspiring designers using our CAD software
- Provide quotations using EQ software
- Meet with the Production Director to discuss technical aspects of the build to bring your designs to life.
This is a permanent full time role at 37.5 hours per week, based at our beautiful showroom in Lutterworth. You’ll also be required to travel to surrounding areas as and when required. We offer a highly competitive package with:

We’re offering a salary of £26,000 per year plus and an uncapped commission scheme based on individual performance (OTE £45k).
The candidate
The perfect candidate will be well-suited to a fast-paced and varied role with a desire to provide a complete top-quality end-to-end service for their clients. Sales experience (2 years preferred) and success is a must, along with a clean driving license, excellent interpersonal skills and an eye for detail with artistic flair.
Ideally, we’ll be looking for a good knowledge of 2D and 3D CAD (1 year experienced preferred), preferably with a background in kitchen design and sales. Additionally, knowledge of ArtiCAD, Winner or EQ software would be distinctly advantageous.
