Portree undertook the design, custom build, fitting and project management of our kitchen (in a 1959 house) and 2002 dining room extension. The work included sourcing and installing all the appliances as well as plumbing, electricals, plastering and decoration undertaken by contractors managed by Portree.Overall we are very happy with the outcome. The kitchen looks great, the units and equipment that they built and installed are high quality, function well and have the fine details we wanted in the design incorporated for us. This project has brought together two tired, disparate areas into one great cooking and entertaining space.There were some issues with the project, measurement and supply problems which led to some delay and repeat visits, but whatever we asked Portree to put right, they did so promptly and without quibbling.Everyone who came to do the work was pleasant, punctual and tidy. Rob, the Portree carpenter/fitter, worked cheerfully and incredibly hard on the project throughout and Adam, our project manager, was always contactable and came up with lots of good solutions and proposals.
