A Grounded Kitchen Connected to Nature — Rugby, WarwickshireMusgrove House
This kitchen was conceived as an extension of its surroundings. Cabinetry painted in a muted olive tone sits alongside warm timber and brushed brass, creating a palette that feels natural and balanced without dominating the space.

The deep blue island anchors the room, providing generous workspace and a natural place to gather, while the surrounding cabinetry is painted in a soft, muted grey to keep the space calm and balanced.
Natural materials were chosen throughout — from the timber details to the understated hardware — bringing warmth and texture without drawing attention away from how the room is used.
Small, thoughtful details make the space feel personal: a window seat for quiet morning coffee, dedicated drawers for family pets, and storage designed around how the household really functions.

Large garden doors draw in daylight and maintain a visual connection to the landscape beyond, allowing the room to shift subtly with the seasons. Materials were selected for texture and longevity, ensuring the kitchen feels as durable as it does refined.
A whole house project
Storage and layout were planned around daily routines, with an emphasis on clarity and ease of movement. The design avoids excess, favouring proportion, material quality and careful detailing.
The outcome is a grounded, well-resolved kitchen that supports everyday life while remaining visually composed and connected to its setting.
